It also contains a ‘randomiser’ slide so that debate topics can be selected randomly. This is an ideal revision tool and can be used for a whole session or an activity that you can re-use over multiple lessons. These activities are illustrated with reference to interesting debates about pedagogy, philosophy, ethics, the school, and teaching practice (most of which will be relevant to the teachers and trainee teachers (and other classroom practitioners) in your school. It is ideal for teacher training courses, or for ‘staff room morning training sessions’ that I know are often a feature of professional development in schools.
